"I had a great stay at the Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. The location is excellent - right in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, next to MGM Casino and Caesars Palace, which made getting around super convenient. The hotel reception area is beautifully decorated and a great place to relax. I really enjoyed the bonfire pits, the hot jacuzzi, and the temperature-controlled pool. A special plus was the heated toilet seats, which were amazing during the cold weather when we visited on December 12-13. We did have a minor issue with hot water early in the morning around 6:30 AM. I contacted the reception, and they were incredibly helpful. Even though there wasn’t a handyman on-site at that hour, they immediately offered us a different room with no issues, without any hesitation. This quick response ensured our plans weren’t affected, which I truly appreciated. Overall, the service was excellent, and the experience was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."

"Prime location — just a 5-minute walk to the gondola and close to all the main restaurants. We’ve been coming to Lake Tahoe for years, and this has become one of our go-to spots. Even when we don’t stay overnight, we still hang out in the lobby because it’s so cozy and inviting. Very dog-friendly with a spacious lobby where our dog babies can truly relax. The self-serve kitchen is clean, well stocked, and included in the room rate — you can make your own breakfast, and there’s a great tea selection available all day. The outdoor fire pit is a huge highlight — perfect for cozy evenings, good conversations, and meeting new people. Clean, comfortable rooms and an overall warm, social vibe. You really can’t go wrong with this one."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at the Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. The property strikes the perfect balance between cozy mountain lodge and modern boutique hotel. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — especially after long days exploring Tahoe. The outdoor spaces really set this place apart. Sitting by the fire pits in the evening with a drink, surrounded by pine trees and mountain air, was a highlight of our trip. The location is also ideal: close to the lake, Heavenly, great restaurants, and everything you’d want to do in South Lake Tahoe, yet it still feels peaceful and tucked away. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay great. You can tell the hotel is very well managed and thoughtfully run. This is easily one of the best places we’ve stayed in Tahoe, and we’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a relaxing yet stylish Tahoe getaway."
