"Our first time up to Tahoe and wanted something cute and lakeside. Wine was good and food was good. We loved the pizza with apples and balsamic glaze. Can’t remember the name! Service was friendly as well. They even provide blankets if you’re sitting on the deck. Great experience. 🤗"

"Excellent service with outstanding views. Greek feta dip and cups of lobster Bisque and tomato Florentine paired with the Old World white wine flight was perfect. Also getting a Brie grilled cheese to share. Would definately return. Was a very good move to get the sandwich!! Delicious with Blueberry fig jam and apples. Saw a fondue nearby which was very attractive."

"Idle Hour completely blew me away. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were lucky enough to get there just before sunset, and I’m so glad we did. The skies turned the most stunning shade of pink over the lake. Watching the sun dip behind the mountains while the water glowed was absolutely breathtaking. The views of Lake Tahoe here are truly unmatched; it’s easily one of the best places to take in the scenery while enjoying a fantastic meal. Our server, Notanee, was incredible: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They knew the menu inside and out and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. We also had the pleasure of meeting Sam, the manager, who checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect. The level of hospitality here is on another level. And the food? Amazing. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. If you’re visiting Lake Tahoe, Idle Hour is an absolute must. Whether you’re coming for the food or drinks, or the jaw-dropping views, especially at sunset, you’ll leave already wanting to come back. Highly, highly recommend."
