"Wonderful state park with lots of picnic areas and beach to walk. Huge evergreens to enjoy. There is a 120 year old mansion to tour if time allows. We had planned to just stop for an hour or so but stayed longer as it was such a beautiful place."

"It is a beautiful place, quiet and plenty of place to park. One thing to suggest is to have more trash cans, because during the weekend lots of people gather by the lake and very limited trash cans available. The gift shop is very small but has tons of things to buy with reasonable prices. The tour to the mansion is great, tons of interesting information you gain and lots of things to see. Kelly was a docent who walked us through the whole mansion and explained everything. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Overall it is a nice place to spend a day and enjoy the weather and beautiful views."

Absolutely breathtaking! The shoreline at Sugar Pine Point State Park offers some of the clearest water and most serene views on all of Lake Tahoe. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning walk, fishing from the pier, or simply dipping your toes in the cool water, it feels like a private paradise"
